How long after a drug is taken will it be detectable by our tests?This can vary depending on variables including the individuals physical condition, metabolism, body fluid balance, state of hydration, and frequency of drug usage, so this should be taken into account. Is it possible to cheat the iCup test by substituting or adulterating the specimen?No. The iCup contains a specimen validity test or SVT strip that verifies the validity of a specimen. The SVT strip checks for oxidants, specific gravity and pH in the specimen. For example, if someone tries to substitute water for urine, the specific gravity indicator will show an abnormal reading. Do the test kits need any particular storage conditions? Do they have an expiry date?No. Storage at room temperature is fine, and it has a shelf life of 24 months. The expiry date is printed on the outside of each test. To perform a test with the Express Check™ Breath Alcohol Test, the user squeezes the tube to crush the ampoule in the test, and then blows into the appropriate end of the test for 12 seconds. Yellow crystals remain unchanged if alcohol is not present at the test's threshold. Alcohol in the breath turns yellow crystals to a pale blue or green colour within two minutes if the concentration meets or exceeds the test's threshold.
